David Werlin is the Executive Vice President of WPW Realty
Advisors where he focuses on retail leasing and sales.
Prior to joining WPW Realty Advisors, David
was the Executive Vice President and in-house Broker for Priske-Jones
Properties. While at Priske-Jones, David oversaw all leasing,
acquisition, and disposition duties for various company properties
including small to mid-size retail centers, anchored pad site
sales, and larger development tracts.
Previously, David was an associate for
New Regional Planning and Tricor Realty Partners, Dallas,
Texas, where he specialized in third-party project leasing
and commercial land sales. With over 15 years of commercial
real estate experience, David also has a thorough understanding
of assembling due diligence materials for acquisitions and
sales, tenant and buyer representation, marketing, asset evaluation
and analysis, property management, and development.
During his career, David has represented
and/or performed brokerage services for Hunt Properties, The
Ainbinder Companies, Don R. Mullins Interests, Armstrong Development,
The Hanover Company, Hancock Fabrics, Aaron & Wright,
JDN Realty, Landmark Developers, Learning Express, Derrick
Interests, American Spectrum Realty, Freeway Properties, Wingfield
Partners and many other local and regional owners and tenants.
David has been involved with or assisted with retail transactions
for Starbucks, The Athletes Foot, Academy Sports &
Outdoors, Leather Gallery, Sports Clips, Great Clips, Cingular
Wireless, Los Arcos Mexican Restaurant, Whataburger, Applebees,
National Tire & Battery, Chase Bank, Long John Silvers/KFC,
US Navy, First Bank of Victoria, Enterprise Car Rental, Zoes
Kitchen, Cyclone Anayas Mexican Kitchen and many other
national, regional and local tenants.
A native Houstonian, David received
a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance from
Southern Methodist Universitys Cox School of Business.
David is a licensed real estate Broker in the State of Texas,
and has been a member of the International Council of Shopping
Centers (ICSC) since 2000. David is also a member of the Houston
Association of Realtors (HAR), a Founding Member of Young
Texans against Cancer (YTAC), and is involved with several
other non-profit organizations in the Houston area.
